Description

When singer Natalie Maines joined sisters Martie Erwin Maguire and Emily Erwin Robison in 1995, a new era of the Dixie Chicks began. Originally a bluegrass group, they began to focus on country music and also crossed over into other genres. Beginning in 1998 with hit songs “There’s Your Trouble” and “Wide Open Spaces,” the Dixie Chicks soon achieved commercial success.
