Description
In a boxing match that was touted as “The greatest sporting event in history,” the bout was shocking to the enormous audience watching. Pacquiao was defeated, and the reason was later quietly disclosed. He walked into the ring with a broken and dislocated shoulder cuff, and his performance was obviously way off. This painting was completed days before the fight and, at the time, resided in the home of Lamberto’s friend, who lived next door to Mayweather in Las vegas.
