Description
Dirk Nowitzki admires the championship trophy after the Dallas Mavericks beat the Miami Heat in six games in 2011. Nowitzki was the 1st-round choice of the Milwaukee Bucks in the 1998 NBA draft but was immediately traded to the Mavericks, where he has played ever since. The German-born, 7-foot power forward led the Mavericks to 13 NBA Playoffs (2001–2012; 2014), including the franchise’s first Finals appearance in 2006 and its only championship in 2011.
