Description
Carl Cornelius is the Texas version of a Renaissance man. He’s the mayor of Carl’s Corner, that piece of land where Interstate 35 splits or merges, depending on which direction you’re headed. He’s owned bars and restaurants and truck stops. He was a partner with Willie Nelson in Willie’s Place at Carl’s Corner, where they played many a round of golf and hands of poker, and even got into the biodiesel industry for a time. Carl is always on to the next deal, the next opportunity. He’s a true Texan.
